We are seeking a part time Research Assistant tom work in our research project Chronologicum Hibernicum – A Probabilistic Chronological Framework for Dating Early Irish Language Developments and Literature (ChronHib), funded by a Consolidator Grant from the European Research Council and led by Professor David Stifter.  ChronHib aims at making progress in establishing a finely-tuned chronology of Early Irish language developments and literature, by closely studying and mapping linguistic change and variation in the literature from the period. Work will be carried out primarily within the discipline of historical linguistics, but other aspects such as the application of computational linguistic methods will play a role as well.
