Dearest Father,

As I shall be away for two or three days I send on the budget as it is; the last few pages you can use for writing down your good resolutions, if you feel tempted that way.

I have nothing to add to my last postcard. Everything very quiet + peaceful here we are not to return to the trenches for some time+I am a trying to forget this moment there is such a thing as a man listening to our divisional band playing under my window, The Makado!!

Heaps of love to everybody

Ever dearest father

Your own loving
